Terms & Conditions– The Legal Stuff (But Friendly!)
These are the rules of the road when using ERRAND UK. From booking to delivery, our terms outline everything you need to know about using our services safely and fairly.

By accessing or using the services provided by Errand Dot UK Limited, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
- Service Overview
Errand UK provides same-day collection and delivery services for parcels weighing up to 50kg within Ipswich, Colchester, Felixstowe, and Sudbury.
Services Offered
- Standard Delivery: Collection & delivery within 24 hours. £1.50 per mile excl. VAT.
- Priority Delivery: Collection within 30 mins – 3 hours; delivery within 30 mins – 4 hours. £2.00 per mile excl. VAT.
- Booking & Cut-Off Time
- Standard Delivery: Orders must be placed by 6:00 PM for next-day delivery.
- Priority Delivery: Orders must be placed by 6:00 PM for same-day service.
- All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
- All bookings must be made through our online platform.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- We accept payments via credit/debit card or other payment methods provided during checkout.
- Weight & Size Limits
- The maximum parcel weight allowed is 50kg.
- Parcels must be securely packaged and ready for collection at the agreed time.

- Waiting Time Policy
- The first 3 minutes at pickup or delivery are free.
- After that, we charge £1 per 5-minute block of waiting time.
- Pricing & VAT
- Standard Delivery: £1.80 per mile (incl. VAT)
- Priority Delivery: £2.40 per mile (incl. VAT)
- Minimum charges apply: A flat rate applies to all shipments under 10 miles.
- £18.00 for Standard
- £24.00 for Priority
- Pricing is calculated based on direct mileage from pickup to delivery location.
- All final prices include 20% VAT.
- Insurance & Liability
- Each parcel is automatically covered by a standard insurance policy of up to £20.
- Customers sending items of higher value are advised to contact us to arrange additional insurance coverage independently.
- Errand UK is not liable for loss or damage exceeding this limit unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Errand UK is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including delays caused by weather, traffic, or third-party issues.
- Exclusions
We do not accept the following for delivery:
- Hazardous materials
- Illegal items
- Fragile items without proper packaging
- Perishable goods requiring refrigeration
- Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders can be cancelled up to 1 hour before scheduled collection time for a full refund.
- Cancellations after this window may incur a charge depending on the driver’s location.
- Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate pickup and delivery addresses.
- Be available or ensure someone is available to hand over or receive the parcel.
- Any delay caused by customer absence will incur waiting time charges.
- Amendments
Errand Dot UK Limited may update these terms at any time with or without prior notice. Updates will be published on this page.
